A Grateful North Fork Vineyard Wedding

PELLEGRINI VINEYARDS was the beautiful backdrop to this wonderful wedding celebration that Stephanie and Chris shared with their families, their adorable dog Widget, and their closest friends from all over. It was a gorgeous day and the party was full of laughter and dancing! When I first met Stephanie and Chris I instantly enjoyed their company, they are smart, funny and very sweet together. Chris has this cute dimple that pops out when he smiles at Stephanie. Just watching them look over at each other made me see how much they love each other.

Stephanie tells their beautiful love story:

“Over the summer of 2006, exactly 10 years ago, I was working at a Bistro in Garden City with Chris Meroles  (Chris’ best man). One day, Chris came in for a sandwich and I remember him leaving and me saying to Meroles, “Who is your friend? He’s so cute!”

After that day, Chris came in for lunch every single day. He would sit with me while I took my break or go on deliveries with me. I remember staring out the glass window of the Bistro waiting for his spray-painted black car to pull up and when it did, my heart would skip a beat. I was head over heels. Only, he didn’t ask me out for a LONG time. It wasn’t until August 8 (a couple months after this was going on) that he finally asked me out. He was flirting with me at the register and one of the other guys that worked there asked if he was ever going to ask me out. He finally did and we went that night to the movies to see Talladega Nights. I still have the movie stub and I remember it like it was yesterday. I pulled up to his house in Glen Head and he ran out carrying his shoes (because he never wore shoes then) and we went to the deal movie night at the theater. After that, it was a whirlwind. I was leaving for school in a few weeks so we spent all our time together. Two weeks into us dating, Chris told me he was falling in love with me. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

Even though I was a kid then (I was only 18), I knew our love was real, but I never would have imagined it would take us here… We made it through a long-distance relationship for 4 years (including 4 months when I was in Barcelona) and 10 years worth of ups and downs. We literally grew up together and I love him more today than ever.”

I would say they have a truly sweet love story and I could read it over and over again.
